Road Load Restrictions (5 tonnes per axle) occur seasonally based on weather and road conditions, at the discretion of the County Engineer. Road load restrictions are generally in effect from March 1 – May 15. The schedule is subject to change at the discretion of the County Engineer.
Seasonal Road Load Restrictions were lifted as of Monday, April 15, 2024 from all Dufferin County Roads. Check with the local municipalities regarding load restrictions on municipal roads. Click here to view a map showing County Roads in red.
