Dufferin County receives 2025 Excellence in Economic Development Awards from International Economic Development Council
Dufferin County has received two 2025 Excellence in Economic Development Awards from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC):
- Explore Dufferin Guide 2025-2026, Bronze Winner, print brochure category, 25,000-200,000 population category
- Team Dufferin – County of Dufferin Tariff Response and Business Resources, Gold Winner, Recovery, Resiliency and Mitigation category, 25,000 to 200,000 population category
Dufferin County will be acknowledged and honoured at the IEDC 2025 Annual Conference in Detroit, Michigan, September 14 to 17.
Each year, the IEDC honours economic development organizations, government entities, initiatives, and programs that consistently demonstrate excellence in the field. The honorees lead transformational projects that revitalize communities and advance the practice of economic development.
