The Museum of Dufferin (MoD) collects and preserves the stories of the people, places and culture of Dufferin County — past and present — and shares them through engaging and inclusive experiences. The MoD offers a welcoming, unique and enriching environment for its visitors, with an eclectic variety of experiences by way of exhibitions, events, programs and tours. Exhibition Opening – Life in the Country | March 8, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Explore Life in the Country, a juried photography exhibition in the Silo Gallery. Showcasing the work of 30 talented photographers.

Game On at the MoD – March Break 2025! | March 10-14, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily
Get ready for an action-packed March Break at the Museum of Dufferin! From interactive exhibits to thrilling games, we’ve got something for everyone. Move through the museum to gain points by participating in games, scavenger hunts and competitions in exchange for prizes. Whether you’re looking for some friendly rivalry or just an afternoon of fun, it’s all happening at the MoD!
Regular Admission Rates Apply:
- Adults: $5.00 + HST
- Seniors: $4.00 + HST
- Students: $2.00 + HST
- Children Under 5: Free!
- Group Rate (2 Adults, 2 Students): $12.00 + HST

MoD Studio Workshop: Make Your Own Earrings | March 21, 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
In this workshop, you will design and decorate two pairs of funky (or classic) earrings using polymer clay. Mix and match fun shapes and colours, play with textures, and mold decorations to create your new favourite statement pieces.
This workshop is designed for adults (ages 16+). All supplies provided.

MoD-Tots: On the Farm | March 26, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Join us for MoD-Tots: On the Farm at the Museum of Dufferin where you and your toddlers can participate in tot-friendly farm themed crafts and sensory play! Registration and caregiver participation are required.
Ages 1-4.
$7 + HST per child (caregivers are free)

MoD After Dark Trivia Night: All Ages | March 29, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Grab your family and friends and join the MoD for a fantastic trivia challenge in celebration of our new exhibit Happy Days. In honour of the exhibit’s nostalgic journey through childhood the trivia categories will be themed by decade (60s-present) around important childhood pop culture moments.
Tickets include access to museum exhibits, a non-alcoholic drink of your choice, and a bag of popcorn. Snacks and soft drinks will also be available for purchase throughout the night! The winning team will be awarded a $100 prize in multi-brand (Happy Cards) gift cards.
Doors open at 4pm, trivia starts at 4:30pm. The museum galleries will be open for visitors to explore from 4:00-4:30pm. All ages are welcome; however, anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Outside food and drink is not permitted in the museum.
Registration:
Registration is open to individuals and to teams of 4. Please note that all transactions will require a trivia team name to be submitted. If individuals are registering separately from their teammates, they should fill in their team’s name. Individuals interested in being placed with a team can fill in ‘MoD team’ and be grouped with other individual players. Teams will range from 2-6 players.
$15 + HST per person / $60 + HST for a group of 4. Registration required.
