Dufferin County paving the way for completion of 2026 capital construction projects
As Dufferin County’s 2026 Capital Construction Program nears completion, the County is updating its community on work to improve road conditions, drainage and transportation infrastructure, and ensure a safe, reliable and efficient road network for residents, businesses, emergency services and visitors.

Road users reminded to keep our community safe
Construction activities are ongoing but expected to be completed by the end of October 2026. While every effort will be made to minimize disruptions, motorists should anticipate temporary lane restrictions, reduced speed limits and occasional delays in active work zones.
The County reminds all road users to slow down, obey posted signage and exercise caution when travelling through construction areas. Protecting the safety of both workers and the travelling public remains a top priority and is the responsibility of everyone.
Thank you to community members and visitors for their patience as the County worked hard over the spring and summer months to improve our roads and maintain infrastructure!
