Team Based Care Delegation
The Team Based Care Delegation shared their action plan for moving care forward in Dufferin County, including focus on capacity expansion, local hub development, and connecting residents to primary care doctors and clinics.
OPA No 5 Update
The Community Development and Tourism team shared their extended efforts to connect with residents for feedback regarding the Official Plan Amendment No. 5 Update, including a letter to be sent to lower-tier municipalities to engage their communications channels in sharing the project.

As the Health and Human Services Hub develops, the County will fund upfront capital costs for approved renovations, with the intent to recover costs through lease agreements with Hub partners over time.
Shelter Operations Update
Council has approved the development and implementation of a Dufferin County Shelter Operations Manual, which would establish minimum service standards for all County-funded shelter providers. Justice Centre Designation Request
Dufferin County has requested the Attorney General designate Orangeville courts and our community as a Justice Centre to compliment the work being done at the HART Hub and in recognition of the rapidly increasing workload and space pressures faced by local courts, the judiciary, and supporting services such as Legal Aid Ontario, Victim Services, Probation Services and many others.
Governance Review Task Force
At Council’s request, a Governance Review Task Force will be established to create a framework for a governance review of Council processes and practices, including setting a scope for the work, highlighting key issues and providing recommendations on the review process.
